Within this site you will find information about The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), what we do , and also meet the Walney, Millom and Bootle Coastguard Rescue Teams, the equipment we use and details of the calls (shouts) to which we respond. You can even see a map of the area with the location of our shouts. You can also see which other SAR Units we work with, and the location of those teams.

Millom CRT paged following a report of 2
children, aged 12 & 13, in difficulty whilst swimming in the
Hodbarrow Lagoon, an inland man made lake near Millom used for water
skiing.
